Welcome to 4 Star Ranch, located in Kiowa County, Oklahoma
| Since 2004, the ranch has been home to registered Texas Longhorn cattle. Our herd consists of about forty mother cows ranging from three years to about 10 years of age. On average we will have 15-25 heifers and a few young bulls on hand. We use Wildlife Refuge (WR) herd sires to maintain the WR bloodline in a portion of the herd, and artificial insemination from top Butler bulls (e.g.V.J. Tommie, Boomerang) to introduce Butler characteristics into as many as 12 of our best mother cows each year. |
